Buying a new home in Spain is a big step to take.

The process is relativly simple, as long as you are not tempted to take short-cuts.

Remember, in the UK you would not part with your hard earned cash without being sure that the property you were buying was legally built, owned by the sellers, and not due to be demolished, compulsory purchased or in a dangerous state.

Many buyers have fallen foul of these things, simply because they listened to the agents who told them - "You don't need a solicitor", "You don't need to do searches, the notary do all that", and various other spiels to make you part with your money as quickly as possible.
