Most electrical goods brought from the UK or other European countries will work without any problems in Spain. The only changes you will need to make is to change the plugs.

The one exception is your TV. Unless the TV is made for use in multiple countries, you will not be able to receive sound and picture on the same channel. The TV will work through your DVD player, Video player or satellite system, but not for normal terrestrial TV channels.

It is also wise to check if the goods require an earth connection, most modern appliances do not need an earth line, as they are double insulated. Spanish electrics are often installed without the earth being connected, often with no earth wires at all, and sometimes you will find the earth wire is used as another live line.

It is always a good idea/essential to protect devices with surge protectors, as most of the Spanish electrical grid is overhead wires which are often hit by lightening, causing large spikes in  the power supply. Protectors are available in large supermarkets and computer shops.
